Bacon Deviled Eggs
Updated: Nov 27, 2019

The deviled egg is one of those classic holiday, picnic, BBQ, or entertaining appetizers. This recipe adds one of my favorite ingredients…bacon! A delightfully tasty twist on a traditional homey snack.
Ingredients:
6 slices bacon, cut into pieces with kitchen scissors
6 hard boiled eggs, peeled
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
pinch of salt
Freshly ground black pepper paprika, for garnish
Instructions:
Over medium-low heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
I buy the precooked hard boiled eggs, which makes this recipe very easy for entertaining purposes. Feel free to hard boil your own eggs. Slice the peeled eggs in half lengthwise, removing yolks to a medium bowl, and placing the whites on a serving platter. Mash the yolks into a fine crumble using a fork. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
Evenly disperse heaping teaspoons of the yolk mixture into the egg whites.
Sprinkle with paprika and top with crumbled bacon.
